We used to hear or read a lot about one eyed monsters or ten headed monsters like Ravana in grand mother's bed time stories or in the fairy tales of our childhood days. Those monsters exists in those stories only. In real life, there is no denying that monsters do exists but in different shapes, forms or say Avatars.
While returning from KV Hubbali, the sight of the wind mills on the hills of CHITRADURGA, running parallel along the roads brought back the memories of those bed time stories of one eyed monsters. The only difference I found that these one eyed monsters on the hills of Chitradurga had three hands. The hills seemed to be their domains, of which they were the guards.
I wondered at the invasion of such image into my mind that suddenly clicked. "What is the resemblance? Who are their enemies? Who they have held captive inside any of the caves there?"The image of bleeding JATAYU, with his wings slashed by RAVANA, just flashed across my mind. These electric generating wind mills have degenerated nature which once had sheltered birds and animals, have now become the domicile of one eyed monsters with three sword-ridden hands...
